Jane and John Lahr says
As are so many others, we were saddened to learn that Harry’s journey through life has come to a close. I won’t be able to remember the words exactly, but we sang an anthem several weeks ago that has stayed in my head and seems appropriate:
I thank my God when I remember you, for he has blessed my life with yours. With every prayer I say for you I’m filled with joy, and
I’ll hold you; I will hold you in my heart.
Our very deepest sympathy to you all. Jane and John Lahr

Linda Mosier Floyd says
Lisa and family, I had the wonderful pleasure of working with your father (and you as well) at Community Hospital ER. Your father was such a pleasant caring physician and I remember my shifts with him fondly. I never saw Dr. Sanders mad and he always had a beautiful smile and kind words for both his patients and his staff. He was truly one of a kind. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family during this time. I am blessed to have known him.
John W Felter says
Dr. Sanders was our family physician for a number of years and he made a number of house calls to our home at 3607 N. Wallace Ave.
I remember that he came to the house March 3, 1964 for my 15-month-old brother, Chris. Chris died that morning from complications of pneumonia.
Dr. Sanders was a good and decent man and respected physician. He and my father, Hal, developed a strong relationship from the Indiana National Guard.
When we were not going to use the cabin in Michigan during Guard weeks, my father arranged for Dr. Sanders and his family to use the “Deer Head Cabin”.
I share your loss and know what it means since Mom, Mary, died from end stage Dementia July 14, 2006.
I see that your father will be buried with full military honors. He would like that.
My father was a former cavalary officer before finance. I found out that there is a caisson unit at Stout Field for military funerals. The funeral home can request their use by getting hold of Fort Knox, KY officer in charge.
The Indiana War Memorial also has an auditorium that can be used free of charge by veterans for their service.
All our best,
The Felter Family

It has been a pleasure to be neighbors of your father and mother all these years. Your father was the kindest, most hard working and caring person. Both your mother and father were always ready to help anyone in the neighborhood. I know your loss is tremendous as your father was a great person and a member of the greatest generation. Sandy
